Asher Champeau
Director of Data and Development Operations
Asher began his career in the data world as a freelance data analyst in 2017 and went on to complete his Computer Science education at OSSU in 2020. He transitioned into a full-time data scientist role after completing his internship in 2021 and quickly made his way up the ranks to become the head of the data science department in his role prior to AMISS.
Over the course of his data science and analytics career, Asher has gained a diverse set of skills encompassing all aspects of the data flow lifetime. He has contributed his knowledge to the creation of resilient data pipelines, novel data enrichment solutions, and advanced machine learning modeling systems. The results of his work have been presented in industry whitepapers and featured in industry trade shows.
Asher has worked closely with clients and stakeholders on numerous data analytics, predictive modeling, and data engineering projects, contributing both his technical skillset and his ability to translate business needs into practical results.
Asher's understanding of and practical experience with modern data concepts, his deep knowledge of fundraising and donor analytics, and his can-do attitude all play a crucial role in the business of AMISS.
Dr. MD Maruf Hussain
Director of AI and ML Operations
Dr. MD Maruf Hussain received his Ph.D. in Mathematics & Information Sciences from Osaka Metropolitan University in 2020. Since then, he has gone on to specialize in artificial intelligence and machine learning development, statistical analysis, and applied data science.
Maruf consistently maintains and develops his knowledge and expert-level skills in the cutting edge of artificial intelligence and machine learning technology, and has successfully applied this knowledge to the development of some truly remarkable applications.
Maruf brings over ten years of technical knowledge and experience to the team, and his diverse skillset is an incredible asset to AMISS.
Sean Keene
Director of Product Development
Sean began his career in tech as a full stack web developer and data analyst over ten years ago, then began his transition into the data science world in 2019.
After completing his studies at OSSU, Sean accepted an AI and analytics internship role which quickly transitioned into a role as a full-time senior data scientist, where he went on to develop a collection of expertly-designed systems and software for data pipelines and predictive modeling.
Sean's years of experience as a developer and knowledge of data science and analytics concepts makes him a key contributor to the success of AMISS.
Dr. Emile Suehiro
Director of Data Analytics
Dr. Emile Suehiro received his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering in from the University of Arizona in 2017 and spent several years doing research and development for marine hydrodynamic and aerospace technologies.
In the the last few years, Emile's focus has expanded to include the data science and data analysis world, with an emphasis on the development of statistical software for applied data science. He has been the lead developer on a range of development projects that integrate statistical data analysis packages into user-friendly UIs.
Emile brings a remarkable breadth of experience to the AMISS team, and his knowledge of scientific principles combined with his flexibility, creativity, and software engineering prowess makes him a valuable addition to the team.
